Tuition 2018-2019 (5779)

Tuition is an essential component of our annual budget, supporting over 85 percent of our annual expenses. We continually strive to balance affordability with the costs of implementing our outstanding educational program. We are excited about the investments we are making in our faculty, technology and facilities so that our students are receiving an outstanding education which fosters critical thinking and a strong sense of Jewish identity.

Schechter’s Pre-K through Grade 8 2018-2019 tuition is as follows. For Gan Shelanu, see your child's enrollment contract and contact Deborah Moukit, Assistant Principal, with questions.

Our board remains committed to affordability and is proud to continue Schechter’s groundbreaking family tuition program, iCap, which launched in advance of the 2012-2013 school year. To enable more families to participate in this program, we have adjusted the eligibility requirements so the program will now be available for families with an income between $100,000 and $400,000. We remain hopeful that iCap will enable parents to anticipate their maximum future tuition obligations so they can confidently enroll their children at Schechter year after year, regardless of the number of children in their family.

We are proud that Schechter has been recognized for bringing iCap to the national day school landscape. We have been mentioned in articles published by Education News, JTA – The Global Jewish News Source, The Avi Chai Foundation, The Canadian Jewish News, The Jewish Daily Forward, The Jewish Week, The Times of Israel and others for being the first school to implement a tuition-cap based on income and many schools now plan to develop similar programs.

In addition to iCap, Schechter families can also participate in our traditional financial aid program as well as Discover Day School.

If you have questions about our affordability programs, please email Greg Hampton.

"My initial phone call with Schechter's Admission Office put me at ease. The warmth and openness of the admission officers made us feel so welcome and they made it a point to get to know my child and what we were looking for so that they could be most helpful." - Schechter parent
